Neu-Ulm/Frankfurt. Deutsche Touring GmbH, the largest German operator in the international regular service bus business, has taken delivery of two more Setra S 416 GT-HD touring coaches, and therefore the 220th Setra since the company was founded. These coaches from the ComfortClass 400 will be used on the new business line from Prague to Bratislava. This service is mainly intended for business people, who can work comfortably with a laptop while on board.
During the vehicle handover at the Setra Customer Center in Neu-Ulm, General Manager Rockerick Donker van Heel emphasised the advantages of comfortable bus travel: "Extra service, internet access and more seating comfort provide a lowcost alternative to business and private travel with one’s own car." With these coaches, which bear a golden "Business Class" logo, the Frankfurtbased tour operator plans to offer maximum flexibility at favourable prices for the 350-kilometre long route. Passengers in the two new, four-star touring coaches are able to relax on 48 comfortable "Nimbus" reclining seats, with plenty of legroom. A multi-channel system is on board for radio, DVD or music CD entertainment. Deutsche Touring GmbH: 700 travel destinations throughout Europe.
