Mercedes-Benz is currently developing and testing the third generation of its popular M-Klasse SUV, that is prone to make its official debut by mid-2011. The complete premiere was a ML AMG test car, that has been recently photographed.
Among the prototypes spotted on roads, photographers have also been able to capture the very first shots of the 2012 ML AMG model. Apart from the specially-tailored, appealing exterior design, the supersport SUV from Stuttgart will make use of the new V8 twin-turbo engine, delivering 544 BHP in standard version and 571 BHP with the addition of the Performance Plus Package, so the new model could easily be badged ML 55 AMG. Expect a new AMG double-clutch gearbox(DCT) to be fitted onto the future ML AMG model and further technologycal enhancements for improving the dynamic behaviour of the SUV, such as the 3-stage ESP, the sport suspension and the braking system featuring ventilated discs.
